Israel, the fourth largest military power in the world, is unleashing its military might on a captive population. Unable to escape from their open air prison because of the Israeli blockade, 1.6 million people in Gaza are condemned to be sitting targets for Israel's bombs, wherever it chooses to drop them.
The Gaza Strip is one of the most densely populated regions in the world. Over two thirds of the population are refugees who lost their homes to Israel in 1948 and 1967; over half of them are children. Israel is using weapons that are provided by the American taxpayer. The USA gives Israel $8.2 million per day in military aid.
We condemn Israel's ruthless attacks on Gaza; and condemn the US government for its obeisance stance on Israel, and for it's providing Israel with $3 billion a year in military aid.

|Israel claims it is warning civilians about missile strikes by “roof knocking.” Israeli army spokesperson Lt. Col. Peter Lerner made that claim to a credulous Wolf Blitzer last night on CNN. We tap harmlessly on roofs, he said, so the residents can leave.
How Israel bombs houses in Gaza - imagine if you had just 57 seconds to get out of your house before it gets bombed.
